Three labeling methods for automatic labeling machine

- May 30, 2019-

A labeling machine is a machine that labels a package or product. The trademarks, main parameters, instructions for use and product introduction on the label are indispensable for modern packaging, and the beautifully designed labels also help to enhance the company's image and promote product sales. Today's labeling machine is an important part of the packaging production line, which directly affects the quality of packaging. Therefore, efforts should be made to improve the quality of labeling. From the aspects of design, manufacturing, assembly and commissioning, according to the labeling requirements, the cost is lower. Meet the functional requirements of the labeling machine. Labeling machines, which are playing an increasingly important role in the packaging industry, occupy a very important position, and as a result, the understanding of such equipment is also deepening. Nowadays, the types of labeling machines are still enriched, but the labeling methods of automatic labeling machines mainly include three methods: the rubbing method, the blowing method and the suction method. The law also has its own advantages and disadvantages.

The working principle of the rubbing method: When the leading edge part of the labeling machine label is pasted onto the product, the product immediately takes the label away. The advantage of this method is that the labeling speed is fast, and the labeling accuracy depends on the speed of the labeling machine and the speed of the label distribution. If the speeds of the two are the same, the labeling accuracy is high, otherwise the labeling machine accuracy will be affected. .

The working principle of the suction method: when the labeling machine label paper leaves the conveyor belt, it is sucked onto the vacuum pad, and the vacuum pad is connected to the end of a mechanical device. When the mechanism is extended until the label comes into contact with the product, it shrinks back and the label is attached to the product. The advantage of this method is high precision, and it is suitable for the labeling process of difficult packaging products; the disadvantage is that the labeling speed is slow and the labeling quality is not good.

The working principle of the blowing method: improvement on the basis of the suction method, the difference is that the surface of the vacuum pad remains stationary, the label is fixed and positioned on a “vacuum grid”, and the “vacuum grid” is a plane filled with Hundreds of small holes. The apertures are used to maintain the formation of an "air jet." A stream of compressed air is blown from these "air jets", which is very strong, moving the label on the vacuum grid and allowing it to attach to the product. The advantage of this method is that it is highly accurate and reliable; the disadvantage is that the process is complicated.

The comparison of the three labeling methods found that the rubbing method can greatly improve the working speed of the labeling machine, and conforms to the development trend of pursuing high efficiency. Jidong Automation has been solving the problem of low labeling accuracy of this method, effectively combining the new technology of intelligent control to produce a fully automatic labeling machine with high precision and speed.
